Prisoner van in Jamaicaway crash; numerous inmates injured

Around 8:20 p.m. at the Jamaicaway and Bynner Street. Nine prisoners in the sheriff's department vehilce were injured, five of them badly enough to require an ambulance to a local hospital, per Boston EMS Incidents and Alert New England.

And another bad accident on the j-way at 2:30 am.
Northbound Jamaicaway traffic
trying to turn left on Willow Pond at this intersection has no indication at all that the southbound light is green longer than the northbound one. When their northbound light turns red and they're stuck in the interection, drivers often try to turn assuming the southbound traffic is slowing/stopping for the same light sequence. It's a highly dangerous situation on a well-travelled route - though I have no idea what the actual circumstances of this incident were.
