Boston Police report the body of a 36-year-old man was pulled out of the Reserve Channel by Summer Street and Pappas Way around noon today. A preliminary investigation found no obvious signs of trauma on the body, police say.
More bodies pulled out of drink in last 2-3 years than previous 20 (all white males). Too bad the Herald and Globe died. 20 years ago, they'd be all over this story. Because there is a story here.
Unless Jimmy McNulty is up to his old tricks again.
I also noticed they'd been pulling quite a lot of bodies out of the harbor in recent times, though I didn't have the 'white male' info (sometimes there are not a lot of follow-ups to the initial reports).
Yesterday I said 'must be a homeless hangout somewhere down there' and hubby responded 'but what about that guy that went to the Bruins game and vanished' which was a good point.
I have been checking this site hourly to see if there is any word on the identity--it is nowhere else except the BPD report. Not it the Globe or the Herald? I can't find a thing myself.

Classy.
Always a great move to make jokes at the expense of the recently deceased. I'll bet any of his friends or family reading this will get a real chuckle.
