Man stabbed after hours at Quincy Center T stop

Transit Police report a man was found stabbed at the Quincy Center T stop around 3:20 a.m.
Erik Manley, 37, of Braintree, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The victim, 35, from Weymouth, was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive, police say.

Quincy Center is the gateway to a great tourist stop
Unfortunately before the tourists get to see the city of Quincy tourist sites they have to take a red line train to a station which is filthy, full of junkies and punks and when it rains becomes an open toilet with rainwater mixed with urine and feces comes pouring down from the crumbling parking garage.
Aah yes.
..the welcoming committee.
But once you run that gauntlet, (preferably when it isn't a rainy day), it is a great little city center.
They still have a few shrines to Our Lady of Perpetual Construction but that seems to be winding down.
I had a conversation about it with one of my more astute friends and he agreed that Quincy is an under appreciated value location.
