No.

Nooo.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

OMG. Im dying.

Am I missing something? I don't see anything about a jazz bar (which would be nice!)

The picture shown says they intend to "change the concept to an Irish restaurant & pub"

Yep, the flier says "Irish restaurant and pub," but Starr went to the meeting and heard plans for jazz club (to be called BeBop). Boston Restaurant Talk has more.

Thanks for the clarification, Adam!

Any way to find out what hell is happening down the street with the old Symphony 8 restaurant (which closed 3 years ago)? The only thing I've been able to find is that in 2014 the owner had to explain the delay in construction to the licensing board. That was two years ago and there's only been sporadic construction since then, with a sign last year saying "opening spring 2016"

I thought places with liquor licenses had to move fairly quickly (as the article implies)? Otherwise, this jazz bar may not open until 2020!

Literally crying right now.

Been going to the Pad Thai Cafe for many years. I love that place. It will be missed.

Warm raw chicken, rodent droppings, and unlicensed sausages!

"Mops are stored on the floor in the backhallway. Store properly and replace mop heads."

Dear God.

It should be 1116 Boylston not 1166.

Fixed.

Can't they convert a shitty restaurant instead? Pad Thai Cafe is awesome!

Love this! The more live music in Boston the better.

Boston finally gets an Irish bar. If we could just get a dunkin donuts or two we would be set.
