Allston club not to blame for ejected patron getting shot in the head around the corner, board rules
The Boston Licensing Board decided yesterday that the Garage, 20 Linden St., could not have prevented a man they booted on Sept. 18 from getting shot in the head not long after on Pratt Street around the corner.
A club lawyer had told the board the club would not let the man in and that doormen watched him walk down Linden, then turn the corner onto Pratt, where he was shot. The lawyer also said club officials are willing to work with local police and the community to deal with ongoing problems related to parking and noise, especially on Sundays - and that the club had fired the manager on duty that night and stopped doing business with the promoter that night.

Hey
Could have happened coming out of the library.
If libraries had hip hop nights
with a headline rapper from NYC.
Or a country music festival,
Or a country music festival, those things have gotten increasingly violent.

Congratulations to the Licensing Board
for wasting everybody's time and OUR tax money so they could come up with a BFO (Blinding Flash of the Obvious).
And you shoot him
And he shoots you
We shoot everyone
And you shoot him
And he shoots you
No one, no one
No one ever is to blame
Hey
I like that song. The 80's man!
its really, really dumb to me
that this stupid licensing board has the gall to 'decide' who is at fault or not for a shooting
It's Really Not dumb to me
Their "decision" only holds weight in the licensing world. It does not carry over to the civil or criminal courts and won't be taken into consideration in these other venues.
i understand that
and it doesnt change a god damn thing in my mind
