Hawk hurt at Back Bay station

UPDATE: The Animal Rescue League came to take the hawk for evaluation and rehab.
Around 12:20 p.m., Matt Fede reported this apparently injured hawk was sitting outside Back Bay station, on the Dartmouth Street side, as police stood by awaiting somebody who could take care of it.
Maybe it's the one that flew into the station yesterday?

The one inside yesterday was
The one inside yesterday was the same species and age - juvenile Cooper's Hawk - as this bird. It looked in bad shape when I saw it but yesterday's article indicated that Animal Rescue had been contacted. When I didn't see it again this morning (although I only looked briefly) I assumed AR had finally come to get it. My guess is that it had chased a pigeon along the Commuter Rail tracks downstairs and had then somehow made its way upstairs and then was stuck.

This isn't an especially rare bird - they breed in Boston - but it's too bad for this individual that it picked the Christmas weekend to get into trouble when there weren't people around to help it.
Is there anyway it ISN'T the same hawk?

I live nearby and I see them all the time. One even snatched a poor smaller bird for a meal right on my windowledge a couple years ago. As another commenter said, they're great for keeping rodents in check, when they're dumb enough to show themselves in public.

Hawks
Hawks are common anywhere there's a food source. The rats love the Southwest Corridor Park (and alleyways nearby.. think: garbage), so the hawks are always nearby for some easy lunch.
Its the same here in Chelsea.. I see hawks at the time because.. well.. we have a rat problem. The hawks are awesome to watch when they are hunting their pray.
