In Jamaica Plain and Quincy, nature is red in tooth and claw - and covered in cheese and sometimes pepperoni

Liz Polcha looked out her apartment window on Boylston Street in JP today and saw a squirrel with the slice of pepperoni pizza it had somehow dragged up a tree.

Quincy has a pizza squirrel, too!

Brighton squirrels love pepperoni pizza, too.

The Washington Post ripped the cover off that one.

This made my day! :)

Living the Dream

That is a delivery drone, not a squirrel. My slice never arrived.

They also like french bread.

Who is throwing away slices of pizza?

Are there people who order a pie and a) don't finish it, and/or b) throw out the rest? Sickening.

Just this morning there were no less than 4 boxes of leftover pizza left next to the bus stop on Congress St across from Haymarket. Many slices of pizza to lure an army of squirrels were just laying on the ground.

It was an exciting walk this morning. Someone also took a sharpie to the North Station Orange Line windows on Haverhill Street to express their opinion of the current president.

I take it that this slice was to go....

"Damn, I told them extra cheese!"

I once watched a squirrel steal a yellow rubber ducky out of my kiddie pool, carry it along a fence, up a tree and deposit it on the neighbor's roof. Squirrels are the worst!
