Transit Police report arresting a Canton man for "conducting himself in a lewd manner" on a C Line trolley as it approached Coolidge Corner around 9:30 p.m. yesterday.
Robert Widberg, 53, already a Level 2 registered sex offender, was formally charged with open and gross lewdness.

Sex offenders
If sex offenders can be barred from parks and schools can they be barred from Public Transportation? If they are ordered to wear a GPS bracelet and ride the subway their probation officer could charge them and notify the Transit Police who could arrest the offender.

One thing is barring them from places they don't need to be - like schools and playgrounds - another is taking away their mobility.
If the system has found them to be competent and non-dangerous enough to be on their own in society, they have a right to use public transport.
