WEMF Radio Brookline Street Cambridge http://wemfradio.com/

What of WEMF? Unless I'm very mistaken, it's Internet-only.

That's below the official FM band, so it's not going to interfere with any licensed station. (Before the digital conversion, it might have interfered with a TV channel 6.)

Local Hybridized Digital-analog HD-2, HD-3 radio stations https://hdradio.com/stations require a new radio with the chipset https://sparcradio.com/product/sparc-shd-t750/

WJIB recently got a license to simulcast on FM 101.3, which that pirate would interfere with.

Here's hoping the new FM signal will reach the North Shore! :)

this only makes one want to open up one even more

They appear on the morning show on a regular basis with Tayla on 101.3 FM. Did the law enforcement advisory issued in 2016 not make it clear to them not to support this illegal radio station. Tayla post all her radio interviews on you tube.

Why do you care if they support this station?

Doesn't it seem a little odd for police to be official guests on an illegal radio station?

It's a victimless crime if there's no licensed station being interfered with, and provides a voice to the local community.

isn't this where WJIB's FM repeater will go? If so, the pirate station will eventually interfere with a licensed station even if it doesn't do so currently.

Bob Bittner threw the switch on his FM transmitter at 1 pm EDT on Friday, August 4. The "Big City" pirate is now seriously interfering with a licensed station, as you can read in numerous listener reports on Facebook's Friends and Lovers of WJIB group.

Big City, if you're reading this ... please find another frequency and leave our beloved station alone.
