Huge barbecue place proposed for Blue Hill Avenue at Talbot

Boston Restaurant Talk reports the Boston Licensing Board next week considers a request for a food and liquor license for a 5,000-square-foot barbecue joint at 881 Blue Hill Ave.
Boris Sapozhnikov's Daisy Duke's BBQ Pit and Royal would have 4,600 square feet of indoor space on two floors and an outdoor patio of about 400 square feet, according to his filing with the board.
The board's hearings begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in Room 809 in City Hall.

Unless the owner or a family member is running the show, its never as good.
BBQ is a passion. Its not something you teach for minimum wage.
