Longstanding Chinese restaurant in Coolidge Corner shuts down

Boston Restaurant Talk reports that Chef Chow's House on Harvard Street has closed its doors forever and that it might be replaced by a hot-pot place.

Weird question: Before I moved to Grater Boston in 1989, I visited a friend at Harvard U for a night. I could swear we ate at a Chef Chow's in Harvard Square. Was there such a thing? Or something with a similar name? This has been bugging me for years...

A hot pot place just opened up around the corner on Beacon Street. In 5 years Coolidge will be entirely hot pot, CVSs, and banks.
