The Globe's first video blog

I spent the weekend chasing gubernatorial candidates with my camcorder.....produced three video clips....and then I posted them on a video blog that's linked to the Globe's politics page.
I asked the candidates about their favorite music...and I asked Chris Gabrieli about the first concert he attended.....(it turns out his first show was Elvis Costello at the Orpheum in 1978).
There are three clips so far - one each for Reilly, Gabrieli, and Patrick - and they run about five minutes long. It's worth a look!

The candidates' favorite music! Yeah, that's real helpful to me as I head to the polls.

sorry to respond so late -- but check out the front page of Globe's city/region section today (in the hard copy of the paper). It features a really helpful chart of where the gubernatorial candidates stand on many major issues....It's a handy guide for voters who plan to hit the polls.
also, our Trail Report video blog has links to the Globe's 2006 election web coverage, and the political blog...on those webpages you'll find tons of info. on all the candidates, and not just the ones running for governor.
