Woman drove into a Saugus roast-beef restaurant this morning, but it was neither a drive-thru nor open for breakfast
By adamg on Sat, 11/02/2019 - 10:24am
Saugus Police report a woman drove into Giovanni's Roast Beef & Pizza, 194 Broadway, around 7:20 a.m.
Police say they have ruled out drugs and alcohol as possible contributors to the crash and say they are looking at whether the driver, a 57-year-old Melrose woman, made a mistake or if something went wrong with her car, a 2016 Mercedes E350. The driver was not seriously injured, police say, adding the restaurant is now shut pending a structural inspection and repairs.

War On Beef?
Maybe the mysterious Roast Beast closing last week was preemptive self-defense!

If I refuse to participate in
If I refuse to participate in eating beef, is that neutrality or an act of war?
I have my reasons to eschew eating beef.
And reasons to eschew driving automobiles.
So while this murder vehicle operator was targeting a meat-is-murder promotional facility, I disapprove of the destructive approach of this action.

Good thing the police blurred
Good thing the police blurred the license plate. Gotta protect the real victim, which is the person who drove a car into a damn restaurant.
Protect the driver from what?
Protect the driver from what?
yeah
because medical emergencies and mechanical failures never ever happen right?
blacking out a license plate has absolutely nothing to do with assigning blame or determining who is a victim.
Oh dear
I hope she didn't drop her phone on impact
Oh Dear
Get a new joke
Happily
As soon as you maniacs stop hitting things with your damned cars
Say it with me now
If you’re a roast beef sandwich restaurant - cars are gonna hit you.
License plate
Is this one of those plates they had a lottery for?
