Let me re-phrase my scream from the previous thread.

Stop carrying around guns you don't know how to properly use and for which you are not licensed to have!!

Guns are stupid. Period. They do more harm than good.

Everyone with a gun believes they know how to properly use it and have whatever licensing they feel is applicable to them. Every minute they have it and every time they use it successfully reinforces this to be true.

Texas has passed a law giving everyone the right to carry a gun without any licensing or training whatsoever. They continue to cement their status as the state I least want to live in or even visit. I wish all our gun fetishists would move there.

When you have to carry a firearm to escort your daughter off a school bus and the only civic improvements are shot spotters and metal detectors in schools.

Hahahahaha! You really think yer man actually needed a gun to actually protect himself in Codman Square? Are you serious? It’s all absurdist macho role play.

did he threaten his 7 year old daughter after he shot her in the head? this guy seems to be a real winner.

… might give him pause.
Now he’s charged with serious crimes.
All because he had to have a gun.

I'm eager to hear the story of what he was trying to shoot at.

… it was accidental and the gun went off inside his sweatshirt pocket.

According to prosecutors it was deliberately fired and ricocheted.

The defense tells a much different story, of a father who just got his child at the bus stop and a gun accidentally discharging as they walked.

The truth is likely somewhere in there.

If only his 7 year old kid also had a gun to stop him just as the writers of the constitution wanted!1!!

There are no accidental discharges of a firearm, only gross negligence.

And ND’s happen often enough that they have a 2 letter abbreviation on gun forums.

yesterday's post about this shooting and it being related to school busing are especially laughable with this update.

How is this different from posting on Twitter while your child falls and hits their head at a playground?
