I remember those days. The City of Boston was in panic mode. People were buying guard dogs and handguns. My own Grandmother installed a front door lock on her brownstone that required a key to both enter and exit the building. The only people who felt safe were men and small children. The Boston Strangler was the ultimate boogeyman in those days.
