Townie objects to somebody in Southie telling him to stop driving the wrong way down a one-way street, so he pulls out his loaded gun, police say
Boston Police report arresting a Charlestown man on charges he got all road enraged in South Boston early Saturday.
According to police, Aidan Fittz, 19, "pulled out a firearm after the victim honked his horn at the vehicle for driving up W 2nd Street the wrong way" around 2:30 a.m.
Police continue that after the victim contacted them:
Officers located the suspects motor vehicle at Story Street and G Street and conducted a traffic stop. As a result of the traffic stop, officers recovered a loaded Springfield Armory XD9 sub-compact with one round in the chamber and nine rounds in the magazine. Officers also recovered seven individually wrapped plastic bags containing a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine inside of a prescription bottle.
Fitz was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a Class B substance, police say.

Quite ironic that he pulled a gun on someone who otherwise potentially could have saved him from being stopped by the police. It's just absolutely astounding how many idiots don't get the whole "don't commit more than one crime at a time" thing.

Don't talk to motorists period
As a bicycle and pedestrian commuter I've learned not to talk to motorists at all because chances are they are already raging before they even encounter you.
Once I tried to let a guy know his rear tire was going flat while he was stopped at a light and he started yelling at me. It's definitely not worth the hassle to try to correct them while they're floundering around.
