Police look for man they say hurled a homophobic slur at woman at Park Street, then doused her and her dog with an iced drink

Wanted for assault and battery

Surveillance photos via Transit PD.

Transit Police report they will charge this guy with assault and battery and civil-rights violations for an incident at Park Street on July 9, once they find him.

Police say that around 4 p.m. on the outbound Green Line platform, the guy shouted a homophobic slur at a woman, then tossed some of his drink at her and her dog.

Police say they are unsure just what sort of drink the alleged felony-facing wanker tossed, but the victim reported it was sticky.

If the guy looks familiar, contact detectives at 617-222-1050 or send an anonymous text to 873873.

I'm sure they'll find him right away with a description like that.

Since we don't have a Combat Zone station ...

He's a dedicated follower of fashion. Oh yes he is.

Sometimes I forget just how awesome the Kinks were.

... I sometimes like the KInks best of all the "British Invasion"
greats.

He may be hard to find - too many of them out there.

What the hell is wrong with people? We are being heavily propagandized to hate one another, for narrow, cynical purposes. Choose kindness as an act of conscious defiance.

I mean, I'm sure that all his failed jobs, past-due bills, tanking self esteem, erectile dysfunction and failed relationships are entirely due to feminists, AOC, black people, gay people, etc. and the general "war on middle aged white guys".

Can't possibly be his shitty attitude and need to bully people.

Than any one of the seemingly daily shooting stories.

When someone is walking around and targeting individuals because he perceives them as belonging to an entire large category of people, that's a different kind of threat. You shouldn't expect people to react the same way.

Shooting someone is infinitely worse, and deserves at the minimum the same amount of UHUB poster outrage.

That's a bit outrageous.

so much as they're upbraiding the commenting community at large for being a collective pile of dogshit in not showing greater concern and posting more comments in threads about shootings - threads where, I can't help but note, they themselves have also made no comments.

When it's a sentence or two long story of "Person was shot at X place a Y time" or "Unidentified person was murdered" there's only so many original comments one can make.

I mean I guess anyone can upbraid anyone about anything, but that one ain't gonna land. I see a post about some attacking a perfect stranger for being (or perceived as) a member of a group that gets targeted all the time, that politicians and religious leaders are calling to be executed, and that I am a member of, and I'm going to comment. I see a post about someone I don't know who was shot by someone else I don't know for reasons that are not given, and you want me to "show greater concern and post more comments"? Your dogshit meter needs adjusting.

I'm agreeing with you. The posts from willisan are utterly craven and disingenuous.

Per Uhub's tracking function, you've made only one comment on shooting related posts here in the past six months. You may want to ask you yourself why.

My point is posters here will always comment on how horrible things like this are (example the idiots that spray painted the Rodgers in HP), but are silent about the real issues that are, in fact killing people in Boston. Many, such as the resident expert on everything, Swirly, will make snarky comments about white guys are so bad, but not a peep on the real problems in Boston.
