Door-hogging couple attack man on the Green Line, police say

Photos of alleged attackers

Photos via TPD.

Transit Police report they are looking for a pair of allegedly angry Green Line riders for an attack on a trolley between Park and Boylston in which the man repeatedly punched the victim in the head around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Police provided this account:

The female, who was blocking the entrance to the trolley, allegedly stated she was going to stab the next person who went around her. Once on the trolley the male, perhaps assigning his companion's threat towards the victim, proceeded with a closed fist to strike the victim numerous times in his head. Victim treated and released on scene by Boston EMS.

If they look familiar, contact detectives at 617-222-1050.

I keep asking and I keep not getting an answer. WHAT is causing this? Seemingly every day now we read here of someone being attacked on the T or surrounding environs. Just the other day it was someone at State Street attacking a 64 year old man. Who are these tightly wound people? I have ridden the T daily for over 50 years and, while there has always been a fringe element of crazies, it has never been like it is now. Ever. I ask again, WHAT is causing this?

I guess they couldn't figure out that there are obviously cameras on the ceiling in the brand-new Green Line cars.

Just a friendly reminder from everyone else taking the Green Line.

Thanks.

They correctly figured that anything goes in Boston.

Because now the police are looking for them and they will almost certainly be ID’d quite soon.

Is what should be tagged to pretty much each one of your attempted trolling comments.

The pictures, the narrative, and the location bring back bad memories of 1976.

These two look like mill city washins in the big city getting their "Boston" on.

there were a lot of blow-ins and travel teams.

It was SOP for streetwalkers and their pimp to come in from out of state, then disappear after they were released on personal recognizance.

I was thinking either Rockland or Methuen.

I have seen people literally kicked out of train cars for this. as in, person blocks door, makes a bunch of noise about people bumping them to exit, threats said, then at the next stop they got shoved out of the train by way of the boot as the doors were about to close.

FAFO at its best.

also, these shitheads will be caught immediately. committing acts of violence on public transit in 2023, where there are cameras every 6", should carry an additional penalty for uncurable stupidity.

Yeah, facial recognition software will pull up their social media profiles in a fraction of a second, assuming nobody who recognizes them tells police first.

They want their 1998 teen drama characters back.

If Larry Clark wants to make an updated, Boston version of "Kids", he's got some casting leads

I can't disagree, but that movie was seriously grim.

a few years ago i was randomly sucker punched in the head from behind by some high guy on the assembly row platform on my way home from work. punched so hard my sunglasses and ear pods flew right off. it was during rush hour. no one bothered to help! anyway they caught the guy and i got to see the video of me getting whacked when i went to court for it. evidently the guy went on a punching spree that evening and had a few other victims on the orange line.

boom pow

the next person who belligerently blocks an exit on mass transit. With a spoon. But I won't because I have a modicum of impulse control. Usually. And I really wouldn't want to grievously injure anyone (hence the spoon.)
