Actually we (democrats chose and presidential candidate and a VP candidate to serve if the president isn’t able to. When Biden dropped out, the VP moved up. We voted for her (maybe you voted another party in which case it’s not your say). It would have been better if Biden never ran for reelection and let us choose a president apart from him, but to say “the party” chose her is disingenuous.
Is next in line if the president is unable to serve, not if he is unable to run, that isn't the system,
I think she was chosen by her party not her parties voters
To be on the ballot, voters should. Why is that difficult for some to understand, You are the second person telling me they have rules and followed them.
Should they skip Primaries going forward and let the DNC pick who we get to vote for?
Harris is next in line for the Presidency should Biden become incapacitated or dies.
That has nothing to do with a party's nominee to stand for an election. The electors within the Democratic party nominated her after Biden had won the primary and decided to drop out.
Harris and the Democrats told the country that democracy was on the line yet bypassed democracy in nominating Harris without holding anything resembling an election or a campaign. That hypocrisy might have been the reason she lost. It's really aggravating.
Kamala Harris’ names was not on the ballot during primary season. Technically, Biden could have stayed in the race and dropped her from the ticket, with the approval of his pledged delegates in Chicago.
I voted from Dean Phillips in March, who was running against Biden and Marianne Williamson at the point. Harris wasn’t on the ballot. At the end of the day, the party, not the voters, put Harris at the top of the ticket. Saying otherwise is proffering alternative facts.
The Electoral College has caused too many problems, and should be eliminated. The fact that the Electoral College still exists and is in place and in use has a great deal to do with the fact that we've (Democrats) had so many POTUS elections that were stolen from us, and why Donald Trump got in, to begin with.
Here is one bit of free advice for the Democratic party:
If you'd like more votes, next time you update your official website (and party agenda), under the “Who We Serve” tab, don’t forget to include white guys who are not retired, gay, disabled or unionized. If I am to take a wild guess, that's probably over 15% of the country's population, or 40 to 50 million eligible voters.
"identity politics" is just a right-wing dogwhistle to get guys like you riled up, and getting rid of "identity politics" means discarding anyone who's not straight, white and Christian.

Just in case you are confused ...
The party ALWAYS picks the nominee. They just indulge us with a primary.
A primary where they differentially fund the contenders.
You seem to be under the false impression that political parties are democratic institutions, rather than private political corporations.
VP Harris has just as many primary votes as I do
Being selected by electors within the party while bypassing the voters at large is what happened.
I'm not confused.
You still don't get it
There is no requirement to follow that process.
Political parties aren't regulated like that.
You still don't get it
That my opinion is the party shouldn't choose the candidate, the people should.

Our presidential votes haven't mattered since 1972.
And that was just important for bumper stickers and bragging rights.
The Electoral College is voter suppression for the 43 states that don't matter.

Nowadays, disinformation systems are

The fact that he won the

Agreed: one quip I saw

The funny thing is
You can always date a poster based on their incorrect use of ‘troll’ or ‘bot’. Case in point.
