UPDATE: Both firefighters and police departed the tracks at 3:05 p.m.; service resumed around 3:35 p.m.

Boston firefighters are on scene trying to extricate the person.

The MBTA reports it is running shuttle buses between JFK/UMass and Park Street.

A Boston health inspector yesterday gave Nanning Wok, 465 West Broadway, a clean bill of health, which allows it to re-open.

The inspection found absolutely no health violations at the take-out place, just four days after it was shut for a series of violations, some of which had been noted on inspections going back several months.

UPDATE: Restaurant fixes all violations, allowed to re-open.

A Boston health inspector today shut Nanning Wok, 465 West Broadway, for violations that included letting cooked chicken fingers cool down too much and uncooked meat warm up too much and not doing anything about rodents and smokers. Read more.

The MBTA reports it's managed to get rid of the dead train at Broadway outbound but that residual delays of up to 10 minutes persist.

Amrheins on West Broadway got the OK from a city health inspector today to re-open after it fixed a series of violations found last week, including letting a food-handling employee ill with an infectious disease keep working in the kitchen. Read more.

The Real Reporter reports that the half-acre Amrheins property, one of the last bulwarks of traditional South Boston against West Broadway condoization, will soon be shopped around under the name "Broadway Crossing" for development as a condo building or maybe an office/R&D building or something that would not look at all like the 19th-century restaurant that now sits there.

An investigation into a triple stabbing at the Burger King at 280 West Broadway on Feb 5 has reached a dead end because none of the victims - two of whom initially said they knew their stabber, with whom they'd started an argument - want to cooperate with police, Sgt. Det. Kenneth O'Brien told the Boston Licensing Board at a hearing today. Read more.
