The Boston Licensing Board today approved a plan by the owners of the now defunct Worden Hall, 22-26 West Broadway in South Boston, to sell their liquor license to the owner of an Indian restaurant in Norwood, who plans to open up shop in the space. Read more.

People in the Jamaica Plain Facebook group report that Momo Masala, which serves both Nepali momo dumplings and Indian food - has opened in the Hyde Square space where the Haven used to be. Read more.

Shanti says the ingredients supply-chain problems that forced it to closed a month ago have eased, so they're re-opening in Roslindale and Dorchester starting tomorrow. Pickup and delivery will be available between 1 and 8 p.m. daily. Read more.

Shanti, 4197 Washington St., in Roslindale Square, has ended its lunch buffet and is now only open for dinner. People who need some midday curry and naan will need to get to either Himalayan Bistro on Centre Street in West Roxbury or Tikki Masala in Forest Hills.

Bukhara, 701 Centre St., passed a re-inspection today and was given the OK to open again.

A city health inspector found the restaurant had fixed all the violations that forced its closure earlier this month, save for sealing some rusted storage shelving in the basement.

UPDATE, 8/30: Restaurant cleared to reopen.

A city health inspector yesterday ordered Bukhara, 701 Centre St., shut for a variety of health violations, including a lack of hot water in the sink used by employees to wash their hands and equipment that needed cleaning, including a can opener, a microwave and the inside of an ice machine. Boston Restaurant Talk reports that the old Rubin's on Harvard Street, which closed last summer will become the new home of Shan-A-Punjab, an Indian restaurant that's now a few blocks further south on Harvard.

Impending Indian restaurant on Water Street in downtown Boston

Adam Castiglioni shows us the impending replacement for the failed BeanTown Hogie at 102 Water St.: The second outlet of Curry House on Beacon Street in Brookline.

They have yet to go before the Boston Licensing Board for a food-serving license; once they do, the actual opening will be a week or two away.
