Mission Church broken into third time this month
By adamg on Tue, 11/30/2010 - 4:37pm
Boston Police report the Tremont Street basilica was robbed on Nov. 29, just six days after the last time somebody broke into it and two weeks after the first burglary this month. Police say they suspect the two most recent breaks were by the same person.
Police say officers are meeting with officials at local churches to discuss security measures they could take.

A little better security maybe?
Can't a White Mage cast Barrier Materia on the building, giving it +10 protection against hobos? Isn't that how Christianity works?
Mission Church security
St. Francis of Assisi says that a nicely trained German Shepherd roaming the church and rectory at night would make an effective alarm and apprehension system! Surely a breeder of Schutzhund competing dogs would donate a dog for this higher calling. . .
Good idea
Though those Franciscans and perhaps the Redemptorists Fathers are not quite up to the task themselves (serving the poor and all). They aught to call in the Dominicans (Domini canes) or maybe Saint Bernard (though he was a Benedictine).
Who needs a Saint Bernard when we have Saint Rocco?
I'll bet the Church of St. Rocco (patron saint of dogs) never gets broken into!
A security guy with a fire ax
A security guy with a fire ax could have taken care of this kid quite handily.
