What I like to do with this place (besides eat delicious food and wine) is to do my book-finding wherever, on line even, and then ask these guys to order it. They can get anything for you, and I mean ANYTHING. And presto, you're supporting the bookstore part of the scene.

it's the same folks who owned it before, when it was just a bookstore. I think they're trying to find a way to keep it a viable business. They closed for a while, renovated and recently re-opened with the new business model.

Surely the addition of a Tapas bar/bookstore will lead to higher housing costs and drive out people who only want to buy books.

I think that it's vitally important that Tapas bars should work with the community to identify the true Tapas needs of the community.

In any event, I wish the owner good luck in his new venture.
