Beefy boat now Boston berthed
By adamg on Sat, 10/26/2019 - 12:26pm
Gary Waldeck couldn't help but notice the MSC Meraviglia docked at the Black Falcon pier this morning. With a capacity of 4,500 passengers, it's the sixth largest cruise ship in the world - and the largest to ever dock in Boston.

Tiny People
Too bad it can only be boarded by tiny people apparently.
What is this?
A boat for ANTS?
(Tons of tour buses on the Greenway taking people from Black Falcon to Quincy Market. Probably a good day for the tourist traps there.)
Where are the lifeboats?
Or do they think it's unsinkable?

That's all?
Doesn't look like enough ...

The orange color is the top of lifeboats.
Chilly cruise
NYC to Boston to Portland to Bar Harbour in late October is a risky cruise for bad weather let alone cold weather. For example, last weeks nor-easter, would be suboptimal for hanging out on a boat in the Atlantic.
Looks like its off for the Caribbean after this trip, which makes sense.
Sense?
Is Hurricane Season over? Well, no, it isn't. Not until the end of November.

interstellar cruise ship
It does look like it could be transformed into an interstellar liner somehow. I wonder if Boston Harbor's Black Falcon Pier could contain the world's largest cruise ship?
