Italian steakhouse in West Roxbury to serve last meal next month

Sofia's Italian Steakhouse on VFW Parkway just before Spring Street announced tonight its closing for good on March 2.

"Sofia has been sold to another restaurant group that will aim to reopen under a new name and concept," the restaurant said.

The steakhouse, where Vintage, and before that Fontaine's, used to be, had been open for 16 years.
