Hopefully, Rosalia will be
Hopefully, Rosalia will be the new owner of a house on Brunswick Street next year.
Bless these home health aides. Angels all!
Bad dog owners
Some people just shouldn’t own dogs. I have family members and friends who are bad dog owners. It sucks being around their dogs because they are ignorant and negligent in caring for and training their dogs. Dogs deserve better than these crappy owners.
Society deserves better as well
.
And no one should own
And no one should own pitbulls. They should have been banned decades ago.
Pitbulls
I don't know that they should be banned. Same as Doberman Pinschers. These dogs get a bad rap, but I think the temperament of the dog is an extension of the owner's temperament.
If you're a drug dealer and general badass, your dog is going to pick up that vibe from you and be your vicious protector.
If you're a family man with kids, and the dog is around a loving environment, the dog will have a gentler nature.
I don't think it's the pitbulls that are the problem
The dog is never to blame; it's always the owners, I think.
You're right
It's never the dogs it's the owners who are responsible. That's why I have such a fear of feral dog packs and am glad the city had removed as many as possible back in the day. There are still irresponsible dog owners who when they get tired of the responsibility of owning a dog just abandon them though; So the cycle will continue.
There always one ban all pitbulls
What would you have them do, kill every pitbull?
Simple things like banning backyard breeding and requiring owner and dog good citizen training are real steps for change.
Besides the fact that people call almost any bully breed a pitbull. And yes I have rescued putties. My Bubba was called a pittie even though he was more than half great Dane. He passed this year at 15 and was the neighborhood mayor, everyone had treats waiting for him.
BTW I had a visiting nurse when I had pittie, she was allowed to greet them then put away. Any dog could easily think a nurse is hurting an owner while changing bandages or giving a shot.
