One more week
Love those lights - they get me through the winter. Special thanks to all the businesses and residents who contribute to make these possible for all visitors to the Back Bay to enjoy!
Good old Sam Morison
Seems to have seen it all before. One of my favorite statues. The Mall is especially beautiful this time of year. A berm of leaves had been left on the side of the path the other day. As I strolled with a friend we noted how much some kids would enjoy walking thru them. A block later cue the kids as a preschool class passed us, each ankle or knee deep in the pile.
(In the future this could probably be used as a litmus test to determine aliens or cyborgs hiding amongst us: any being supposedly a human child who does not choose to troop thru a pile of leaves is suspect almost certainly not human.)
Agreed
I love(d) to tromp through piles of leaves.
Then I adopted Basenjis. No pile of leaves are safe from them for doing their business. I use plastic grocery bags to pick up after mine and it's a good thing, too: the leaves I pick up with the necessary can be many. But I do admit to occasionally not being able to find what my dogs have left (not for lack of trying, mind you!).
