Two teens charged for Talbot Avenue double shooting on Monday
Boston Police report arresting a 17-year-old from Jamaica Plain and a 15-year-old from Mattapan for a double shooting outside the Lee School Monday afternoon.
The two were arrested yesterday afternoon on charges of being delinquent for assault with intent to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling and receiving a stolen motor vehicle, police say.
The two men they allegedly shot are expected to survive, police say.
Police say BPD officers and state troopers arrested the two on Norfolk Street in Mattapan.
As the two were being nabbed, police say, officers arrested a third teen, 16, from Whitman after they found him with a 9-mm handgun loaded with six rounds. That teen was charged with being delinquent for unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number and unlawful possession of ammunition, police say.
The arrests did not stop gunfire on Talbot Avenue. Early this morning, police responded to the same stretch outside the Lee School after several rounds were fired. Nobody was hit.

I would consider supporting
naming suspects, whatever their age, in gun crimes/attempted murder cases.
You'll need to contact your state legislators
And ask them to change the law that shields most juvenile suspects (kids charged with murder are an exception).
That was some quick work. I
That was some quick work. I wonder how they figured it out?
